Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (English: Institute for Sexual Science) was an early private sexology research institute in Germany from 1919 to 1933. Fucking Nazis got a hold of the entire institute and one of the most famous pictures of the time is them burning all of the books that were contained and said gender affirming clinic in the way that the textbooks get away with brushing over this part of the history was it was owned by a gay Jewish man (Magnus Hirschfeld) and they just leave out the gay part and do not tell you why the Nazis were so focused on burning down his institute.
